There needs to be some sort of rule for medical questions.

If someone asks what they should do about something that even remotely resembles a medical emergency, the answer should always be ?go to a doctor.?. It makes me sick that people are giving advice for things like this when they have know real knowledge regarding the subject.

Take this topic for example, anyone that has any real medical background will say there is a very good chance that guy is sick in a very bad way and needs a real doctor ASAP. Yet people are telling him to take sleeping pills and Jack, I mean, are they trying to kill him?

I think the mods should create some sort of rule regarding topics like that one, because someone might be very sick and not know it since the doctors on ATOT told him he just needs some booze.

if anything the threads should be locked/deleted, what kind of person would take internet medical advise from a computer forum seriously?

a lot of us give silly/flippant replies, because it should be obvious when someone posts "the bone is sticking out of my leg, should i take an aspirin or go to the emergency room?" that the correct answer is go to the emergency room and not take an aspirin
