Was grilling outside and a bunch of bees were either fighting or mating. They'd swirl around and try and pair off. When two actually connected they'd fall to the ground for a little bit

Bee drones are asexual iirc, so they weren't mating. Queenie certainly doesn't come out to mate either. You sure they were bees?

What seems to be deadly to bees is that the neonicotinoid pesticides are coating corn seed and with the use of new air seeders, are blowing the pesticide dust into the air when planted.


PSA: Buy neonicotinoid free plants for your planter beds. The growers spray the plants to prevent insects....and it kills the bees. Home Depot is supposedly phasing them out.
