There is a small white spot on my Dell 2005FPW that shines through everything

It's a tiny white spot in the upper righthand corner about the size of this> "o" ... it is visible no matter what color is in that area... I am not sure when it appeared or what it is...

What should I do about it? I'd prefer not to RMA if possible.

No other way to try to fix it? I can't exactly be without a monitor for a long time

how long ago did you get it? IIRC if it's been <20 days, call dell, tell them your problem... they'll send you a new one, and when you get it you send your old one back.

4 months but its supposed to be a year warranty
