There is a serious lack of movie theaters in Milwaukee

Apparently it is 10.1 miles to the nearest decent sized theater (more than two screens). Bloody hell.


(lives in south Shorewood off Capitol fwiw).

Is that northshore that's 10.1 miles away? (I'm from milwaukee, actually a suburb north of).

Yeah. There is technically one a bit closer (northwoods or something) that is to the south, but I don't think it is in a particularly good part of town (and I am pretty sure that parts I have to drive through are not).



We really need to have a Milwaukee meet one of these days.

All within 30 minutes of downtown, most less.

And I am not even in downtown. I would think there would be one somewhere near UWM, but amazingly there is not. Even from campus the nearest large theater is about seven miles away.
