Anyway, I think it would be fun to get one of the faster ones and have jousting competitions with your friends. I'm SURE that this thing is going to the basis of some sort of sport or sports. You just know it!

There's a Mod in your thread !

I hope that Nissan can buy some rights to make one of these. It will surely be the best one :)

They really need to retrofit the 3.5L VQ engine into the Segway. It would smoke the competition!

His one was limited to 12 mph. he said they have ones that go faster. The two hosts were on slower ones.

Should I get a Segway, an Xbox, or a Gamecube? ;)

Segway, without a doubt. The 3D graphics you see while riding one are darn near lifelike, and none of the available games are copy protected. Microsoft has a close competitor, but you can only ride it once before you have to re-register, and you have to give it a cookie before it'll even let you aboard.

Another drawback of the Redmond model is that everytime you think about going in a ceratin direction, a little dialog box pops up asking, "Are you sure you want to perform this operation?" As a doctor, I resent that.

I wonder if the British SAS or American Special Forces will use these things?

And I wouldn't let my son buy a used one from a gay scoutmaster.
