CPU and GPU client will always go against each other in PPD. Does not make sense to run both on same system. Never has.

Nope No2 😉
Prior to the big bonus points for SMP2 I would get more points overall running the GPU client along with the SMP. And that's with a 'low' scoring ATI 4830 card, although I did tweak it's CPU useage to a minimium (which only had a mild negative effect on the GPU client).

Nope...GPU uses no CPU (if you are running the correct drivers)

My 1090T it doing 16-17k ppd, and my GTX 260 in the same box is doing 7-8k, for up to 25k.

Not in my case. Anytime i run GPU client, the CPU client PPD would fall in HALF. No matter what system I used it on ATI/Nvidia..AMD/Intel. Never has for all the years i've been folding.

I still manage to get in top 25 list with lowly GTX 260 Core216 I have with 9k PPD

This is what i've seen also, anytime you run the cpu and gpu client on the same box the CPU PPd usually goes down.

The GPU client always uses some CPU - if you check in Task Manager, near the end of a GPU WU you will see how many minutes/seconds it did use.

With some WUs on some systems it can be a very little amount! But it will always lower the CPU WU ppd.

You just never believe me, do you...?

I believe what I see, not what people tell me. I listen, and if I can validate what they say, then I believe. In this case, no way. I can watch in task manager for quite a while. I just checked the cpu column. Since last boot, by CPU client has used 4:39:26 in cpu time. my 2 GPU clients have used 8 and 11 seconds, less than 20 seconds total. If that lowers the ppd, not by much. and these 2 get 12k ppd total on this box, and the cpu gets 11k. (my 920)

sigh....Do I need to put up mine showing it doesn't ? What OS are you on ? what drivers ? what video card ? Those are all variables you have to take into account. I even gave you the exact stats from my task manager. All my boxes are XP, all my drivers are 182.06 or better (when they started using no CPU) and all my video cards are Nvidia.

Along with the seconds shown in Task Manager, please also give an exact time for how long (length of time and percent done) the current WU was running and which WU. It is impossible to figure out anything with the little you gave!

"Since last boot" has NOTHING to do with anything here. The cores restart with each new WU.

at 56% and 64% done on GPU clients (same box) I have 5 seconds and 22 seconds. The CPU client is at 10% and has used 2:55:53. And one is a P5783and one is a P10501.

The cpu is a P6050

The same user ID as here. I don't fold all the time. Other than my i7 980X, I have a P4 and E8400 system with an 8800 GTX that have been running F@H off and on.
