Ya, I saw both the pre and after spoiler vids, and that thing is just an absolute beast either way. I'd take it over the bugatti any day.

Nothing like smoking just about anything but a veyron as they struggle to pronounce the name of the car written on the rear end - cause thats all anyone will ever see.

Seriously, they did a real good job with the car.. but they f'uped on naming it.. lol

It also weighs almost twice as much, which will hurt its handling and braking. Then again their track's corners are pretty wide and so it probably won't hurt it too much.

I don't think the veyron would set the lap record though. Its a fast car, to be sure, but its not a track car as much as an autobahn monster.

They say they added the spoiler just for Top Gear, but I expect it, or maybe even a better one to become standard equipment. If a professional driver like the Stig can't keep it under control, then I think you can assume that some of the rich people buying it won't be able to either.

Also of note, the Koenigsegg beat the Zonda by almost a full second, and they even noted that the Stig lifted at one point (right near the start of that big long straight away where he lost control of it before). That car could go faster around that track.

I'd like to see Top Gear get to do a high performance shootout between several cars.

They did have a show a few series back where they put the F40, the McLaren, and the XJ220 up against the Zonda, Enzo, and Carrera GT.

They showed the McLaren and XJ220 were faster than the rest in a straight line and that the F40 was more fun to drive than the Enzo, but the only car that the Stig did a power lap in that day was the Enzo.

Watching this show just depresses me that I'll probably never be abel to drive any of those cars.
