i just wonder if this coup did take place, would the u.s. sided with hitler??? if some of the same people that financed hitler were involved in trying to bring fascism here (for economic reasons) and did take control of the govt, i would assume that they would have allied with the axis powers. just speculation.....but we also have half the worlds ashkenazi jews in the states. the financiers would hopefully have known about his anti-semitic tendencies through mein kampf. we here at anandtech know our candidates fairly well. i think the bankers would have known as well (hitlers line of thought). hitler wanted to defeat the "jewish-bolsheviks" from what ive seen in mein kampf. he wanted to push back the jews from occupied german territory....then toward the end of the war......"extermination". after we defeated germany, our next great enemy was the soviet union almost as soon as the war ended. i wonder if the coup did take place, would pearl harbor have happened, would we still have dropped the bombs on japan, would 6 million jews have died?????? ive also read that our CIA hired reinhard gehlen (everybody needs to know who this guy is) to spy on the soviets. the organization was called the gehlen organization. he also helped train the mossad (israeli intel). he is also a knight of malta. operation gladio is also tied into him. from what ive read, he overestimated soviet power by a factor of 10!!!! well, i guess he was getting paid and it was good for our military industrial complex!!!!
