He has a style that requires careful selection of movies, but if a movie has a character that fits his style, he'll be great. He's not a talented actor in that he can play any role with amazing ability, but he plays a style well.

The only movies I liked Keanu in was A Scanner Darkly and The Matrix. His "block of wood" persona was perfect for those movies, esp A Scanner Darkly. In other movies he just falls flat.
