2) The anti-war/anti-Bush threads created by Flaming liberals where the next 50+ posts are more liberals joining the circle jerk.

Ahh, a #3! My vote was for #2 because it smelled like crap. But a strong argument can be made for #1 as well.

I kind of agree with you, nick.

I don't consider myself a conservative by any means...don't really consider myself a 'liberal', but I suppose I lean a little more that way. However, I feel sorry for the conservatives on this board. Yes, there are crazy conservatives here, but there's at least an equal number of crazy liberal people here, too. A lot of the 'liberal' people jump on the few conservatives as if they're rabid. Same goes for the conservative people, but there just aren't enough of them.

I've started ignoring threads which obviously only has the point of bashing Kerry or Bush, based on some heavily biased article. Luckily persons who post these are limited to a few and can thereby be avoided only based on the poster.

Since you asked the question as to whether or not it was normal I wanted to express my opinion. I think when lots of people start to think of illness as norman they stop funding medicine and stop going to the doctor. Just wanted to throw in my two photons.
