Theme costume part concept "The 80's". What do you go as?

It was just a conversation me and some friends were having and I'd like to continue it here. You're invited to a theme party where you come dressed up as a character fomr the 80's. I don't care if it's TV, movie, cartoon, or even video game. Just that the character had to be an 80's character. Don't consider difficulty of doing the costume either, that's not a factor.
I personally am a product of the 80's so I wanna know what in that decade sticks in your memory.
I personally would like to go as Tim Curry's character from "Legend" thhe lord of Darkness or whatever. He looked like a pimp.
