For people who read the novel, how can I connect chapters 5 and/or 6 to real life, movies, other stories, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Recommend you re-learn how to spell, correct your post and then come back and post again.

You can connect chapter 5 to Debbie does Dallas, whereas chapter 6 goes in a whole different direction, and correlates best with Backdoor sluts 6.

Thanks for all your intriguing replies, ass fucks.

ATOT is not a place to get others to do your homework for you.

You can ask us questions about the subjects you are studying, but we will not assist you with answering your specific homework questions.

You can ask "I need help understanding how addition works", but you can't ask "How do I solve 7 + 10?".

Chapter six addresses the isolation we all feel in modern post industrial society. The protagonist's struggles mirror the separation from intimacy that derives from the synthetic nature of the service based economy where not only are we separated from nature but also separated from the certainties afforded past generations who toiled in factories. Factory workers could point to the products of their labor whereas service workers must rely on "customer satisfaction" surveys to figure out if their labors have produced anything of worth. You'll get extra credit on this assignment if you can work in a quote or two from the Unabomber Manifesto (with proper citation).

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I guess I shoulda done like Cholride shoulda done and actually read the book or at least have even the vaguest idea of what it is about before writing my book report, huh?

Edit: Okay, read the paragraph summary of the book on Amazon. Now I'm ready to roll...

Chapter Six reminds us that the exploitation, oppression, and pigeon holing of women into preordained roles in modern America grows organically from the times represented in the book. Even the First Lady is seen as a women first and an African American second, while at no time is she viewed as herself, Michele. Go from there and see if you can work in a Maya Angelou quote or two to really wow the teacher.

sparknotes
pinkmonkey
cliffnotes

that is how i survived junior year of high school

pink monkey was the winner though. teachers caught on to the obvious sparknotes, but pinkmonkey always eluded them and had the details they would quiz us on to see if we "read." lulz.

You guys could of just answered him, no need to be so rude.

It's simple. The eye of God was fixated on the battle of Helms Deep in chapter five. This allowed the hobbits, a tribe of pygmies from New Guinea, to simply walk into Mordor after an arduous journey to New Zealand - which happened in chapter 6. The obvious connection to modern day movies here would be Avatar.

Wait. You can't simply walk into Mordor.
