WE TALKED with some people who are involved in the multimedia division of AMD, former ATI. These chaps shared some thoughts with us and explained that the All in Wonder brand is not going to go away.

They agreed the line has to be re-thought and redesigned but it won?t be going away. There will be a new revamped All in Wonder in 2007 and it will be unlike any other, it is supposed to be more revolutionary than the generations before.

We don?t have details about it but we know that All in Wonder is here to stay and the rumours that ATI is to ditch it are wrong. µ

Here's hoping for a HDTV version of R600 with QAM and OTA HDTV tuners and even CableCard 2.0 support

That was exactly what I was thinking. It is about time the AIW support HDTV and digital tuners. If it is a "premier" card, it should at least act the part.
