I read a few articles that his algerian roots were a soft spot for him a while back, he used to get into fights all the time because of it. Why couldnt he wait till after the game? Sad moment for such a great player.

IIRC, http://zidaneowned.ytmnd.com/ has an unedited GIF of it. I realize it fails the latter part of that qualifier, but it's still a clean video snippet.
