Overall it was a good ride though. Only came across two complete idiots in cages, one of them double-dipped, not only coming over on me, but also nearly taking out an Audi and the other only halfway pulled out in front of me. In both cases I was, thankfully, predicting it and had plenty of reaction time.

I'm not a motorcylist, but I'm a Cyclist and it raises your awareness of two wheeled road users. I always give motorcyclists as much advantage as I can without impacting my safety, the saftey of other road users or my own progress.

Mercer is where the rich folks live; low speed limit on that road and lots of traffic. I prefer to head East when I can.

I'm planning on riding this weekend up in the hills but otherwise my riding lately has been limited to riding to work, which is really just easing through 4 lanes of barely moving cars and trucks on the 5 freeway for 20 miles...not very exciting video.
