We are talking about places like McDonald's, Hardee's, Wendy's. Taco Bell ect...

Easily the worst has to be Burger King. Chicken nuggets shaped like crowns? Please......Maybe it's just the way the food tastes. I hate Burger King.

Judging value menus bases solely on quality isn't really fair. It has to be price/quanitity.

In that case, I would go with either Taco Bell or Wendy's.

Aren't whopper jr's also a buck?

QFT. Whopper Jr's are full of win.

Next up is Sonic's burgers. For $1 they are very good. Wendys $1 burger is cheap and made of particle meat mixed in with ligaments and bones. They make a healthy profit on that $1.

Churches has the best chicken sandwich for $1 and Jack in the Boxes two tacos for .99 cents are filling and cant be beat. I also like Taco Bells chicken burrito for .89 and chicken soft taco for .89. Now thats good eatin'. :)

Okay you can't really call out Wendy's for using shitty meat then praise Taco Bell for its good food.

you guys haven't seen a crappy value menu until you've seen the Canadian offerings.

ie. Wendy's here has about 1/3 of the items and they're not that cheap either

taco bell totally destroyed theirs. it used to be decent, you could get a 1/2 lb burrito and a cheesy fiesta potatoes for 3.50 or so, taxes in.

i probably ordered that combo enough to cause them to lose enough money to change it hehe

Burger King's $1 double cheeseburger is the best $1 item, ever, without exception.

After that, I'll go with the McDonalds menu, because their quality is infinitely superior *in my city*.

McD's has the snack wraps at least... they're ok (a chicken finger in a wrap with some cheese, lettuce and hot sauce... lol)

BK junior whoppers are a great value too

Burger King sux dollar menu or not. I like McDonalds generally, and Taco Bell every so often.

This thread reminds me of the time when Peter (family guy) tried to get a fat guy group going.

The only thing I think that is good from McDonald's is breakfast. Bacon Egg and cheese biscuit FTW!! I'll tell ya though....I crave some Chick-Filet breakfast. A chicken egg and cheese bagel is the most amazing breakfast ever.

Whopper Jrs are the tastiest $1 burgers I've had ever since McDonalds had their $1 Big Mac/Big & Tasty deals many years ago (I'm talking like 10+ years ago).

McDonalds' dollar menu here has only one saving grace - $1 sundae. Tasty ice cream, can't go wrong with that. The McDoubles suck, the Chicken sandwich is off the dollar menu, chicken nuggets suck. Otherwise, all the other burger fast food places have decent dollar menus. The worst around here is probably Taco Bell, and they're not too bad either.

Agreed on the double cheeseburger. I just had one tonight while making a drop-off for a Craigslist item. Not hungry now that I'm home, so I suppose I'll call it dinner. No fries or anything with it. Maybe I'll get another one in March or April.

Arby's, hands down - worst value for the dollar. Steak and Shake is very poor value as well, but I consider the quality of S&S higher.

How did "Worst value" turn into "best value"?

Mc D's gets points for consistency and availability. Burger King is high on the taste list, and Checkers/Rally's mmmm love those fries. I've ordered and ordered and ordered off Taco Bell's menu between the wife and I and never had it cost more than $12.
