I thought bell peppers were fruits. If so you're good. We must have the same tastes lol, cause those 3 are about the only fruits and vegies I ever eat.

No I just picked my faves from some of the categories.

This year I have:
tomatoes:
Big Boy
Brandywine
Heirloom grafted

chives

regular and lemon basil
italian flat leaf parsley

Costa Rica sweet peppers

Buttercrunch lettuce
Arugula

pickling cucumber

Last year I had Early Girl tomatoes and they were great, grew fast and had a lot of juice. Great for salads. Still great for sauces despite most people recommending a meatier tomato like San Marzano for sauces. Not great in sandwiches because too juicy and messy. Flavor is great though. Just my opinion.

Buttercrunch lettuce and lemon basil are awesome. This is my first time trying Costa Rican sweet pepper. Chives are great for baked potato with sour cream and chives or mashed potatoes among many other uses like in a vinaigrette.

The pepper in the OP is technically a fruit. In that case, I guess corn, tomato, and okra would also count.

They'd all be up-there on my short list.

Corn and Potatoes... you can practically build a new empire with just those 2 with all the different things you can use them for.

Back from the plant sale, not just two vegetable plants but 100+ vegetable, herb and flower plants/seedlings.

Its a scenario I don't think I could live with. I'm definitely not a meat and potatoes person any more (even though I was as a kid). Eat so many fruits and veggies everyday I would be in a mess if I had to decide on only two. Just give me Soylent Green.

garlic and potatoes.

Potatoes have assloads of vitamins and good bulk for general purpose use. Can feed lots of people. Assuming we also get to keep butter and sour cream and bacon, I think we'll be OK. I dont know what kind of oil we'd use for frying. Maybe bacon grease?

Also, garlic. Yeah it smells, but its got loads of good shit like vitamins and antioxidants and such. Also its good for flavoring and spicing up stuff. Can be used on potatoes as well.
