I mean why do you need social media to talk to your relatives?

I have a lot of relatives who bug me for photos of my kid. Posting a couple them on "InstaFace" every month or so is easier than having to send them via e-mail.

I truly think we need to update and modify what is considered Free Speech. Since five entities control most of social media and at a flick of switch can shutoff anybodies speech. Corporations have as much power in America today as the Government. It really is a dictatorship by a different name.
The thing is, free speech worked fine before social media, and will without social media. Social media does not equal free speech. What we need is a strong free press, not the ramblings of every person on the internet.

Poland and Germany seem to understand free speech more then America today...that is just not right.
But, isn't holocaust denial and nazism illegal in German and Poland? So there goes a shit ton of the "censored" posts right there.

Also Trump was egging on the violent overthrow of government, that IS illegal in the US.

So does that mean you think I should be able to force the New York Times to print whatever I write? How about 20 years ago when that was by far the biggest platform in the country? How about Fox News? Should they have to let me come on and spew whatever I want?
