We already know the world was laughing at TRUMP!!!

WASHINGTON – Former Vice President Joe Biden released an ad on Wednesday capitalizing on the viral video showing several top NATO leaders appearing to chuckle about Trump, saying that the "world is laughing at" the president.
"The world sees Trump for what he is: insincere, ill-informed, corrupt, dangerously incompetent, and incapable, in my view of world leadership." Biden's voice says. "And if we give Donald Trump four more years, we'll have a great deal of difficulty of ever being able to recover America's standing in the world, and our capacity to bring nations together."

After the release of the video of the world leaders, Trump called Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau "two-faced," and abruptly canceled a news conference, though he said it was "because we did so many over the past two days."

The video, first shared by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, captures snippets of a conversation between Trudeau, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Britain’s Princess Anne during a reception Tuesday night at Buckingham Palace hosted by Queen Elizabeth II.
Biden's ad also highlights the moment Trump appeared to be mocked by world leaders during a speech at the United Nations last year.
"In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country,” Trump declared, and audible laughter is heard from the audience afterward.
“Didn’t expect that reaction, but that’s okay,” He responded.

Way to jump on this Joe.

This is what I have said before, is that the Dems need to pound this into the minds of the Americans. Show the citizens of the US the incompetent, petulant, man-child he is.
He's been going on the offensive ever since he's been elected. Its time to for the Dems to up their game. All subsequent TV ads need to do this. It will get ugly. Fight a pig in the mud and you'll get dirty.

This is how we beat the cheeto. Show his incompetence, his ignorance, his hatred of anyone, not white, and his corruption. Show his contempt for the Constitution.

I'll bet this ad gets him fuming.
Tweet incoming........
3, 2, 1....

The world really is laughing at us.

THIS will not sway many (of the people that need to be swayed)...this will be interpreted as the global elite being mean to the president.

And ya'll know what happens when people are mean to certain voting groups...they'll vote GOP again. :D
This is kinda just preaching to the choir IMO.

Aside from that I'm really not sure on the efficacy of attack ads as opposed to policy/substance ads.

I do agree that ads like this that show the world laughing at us are probably really effective as they both directly attack Trump’s campaign claim of making the US strong and respected and also probably massively trigger Trump’s mental illness.

We have two fists, I suggest we use them both. One to taunt and belittle the man-child. Trigger him into petulance and throwing a tantrum. The other still needs to be policy that people feel positive towards, and can picture as helping them live a better life. Give Trump the old one-two.

Better late than never I guess, was hoping Dems were going to start opting for Trump's sensitive orange underbelly. His fury over been laughed at or seen as a baby is a freshly honed tool. Someone needs to use it and twist, be the media/Election side to Adam Schiff bringing that pain.

Dems need to connect it to the dealings of foreign policy, add it to Trump's ongoing list of utter fuck ups. Illustrate to the voters how being a snowflake and idiot makes you hard to respect abroad, enter headlines of intercepted MBS bragging about silly lost Jared being in his pocket, or the Indians talking to eachother about how Ivanka can't be this dumb, throw in some Russian jokes maybe.

Russia: President Trump, we would like to talk about Ukraine.
Trump: What is Ukraine?
Russia: Thank you President Trump! *polite audience laughter*

The only problem is this isn't going to sway any votes - in fact it just makes those Forever Trumpers stronger in their resolve as they hate these "commie globalists" and think that Trump "sticking it to them" is the best thing since Jim Crow Laws. It is however still important to keep underlining and emphasizing the fact that other nations are literally laughing at our president to help strengthen the resolve on the Never Trumper's side.

The intended audience should always be those who can be swayed. The rest we ignore. The questions are 1: Who are they? and 2: How to appeal to them? Trump's incompetence is likely a winning angle. Remember, it only takes a combined 70,000 voters spread across a few states to change the Presidency.

That could very well be true!! But it also could have the opposite effect -- His base could see these ads and hear that world leaders are laughing at him and start to take a closer look to see why the are laughing......But I get it -- his base is baseless!!

That is definitely not happening lol. If all the stuff he has already done doesn't sway them, nothing will (except maybe a crappy economy).
