From day 1 people have claimed that the word "jihad" in the Muslim faith is a strife or battle to be one, that extremists may or may not overinterperet as being to physically kill others. The word "war", however, seems to fall under the same circumstances here in America. Suddenly war is not having battles with a country or armies, but anything to do with accomplishing a goal.
It seems like this is a giant use of vocabulary based propaganda to imply that any goal the American government and people set out on must be fought, requires military assistance, and general power struggle.
Perhaps the conservative opinions of America share some similarities with the extremism of the Muslim world?

There was a post on this recently, the meaninglessness of "war" that is. And yes there are big similarities between those in power and Muslim extremists.

That said, a lot of consevative posters here will say the Taliban is different. Usually, it is on things like how the speak a different language and such.
