Just watched the first episode and remembered this was my favorite show when I was young and still in elementary school. Still is good.

QFT! Even my kids (who were in the target audience at the time) thought the show sucked when it was prime time...

I was beyond the age of their target audience when it first aired though.

The girl in that show was in some of my college classes. We used to call her Winnie and it really used to irritate her. lol. she was so obnoxious imo.

Funny since I grew up during that time period I thought the first couple of seasons captured pretty well exactly what it was like to be a child entering his teen years during the 1960's.

Yep. That show was sooo annoying... they would take even the most trivial of domestic situations and over dramatize the hell out of it.

That's what I loved most about the show - the fact that he doesn't end up with his childhood/high school sweetheart. It seemed more 'real' that way.

I really enjoyed it as a kid. Definitely one of my favorite shows. I think the episode where he quits piano lessons and then walks by his teacher's house only to find his nemesis giving a recital is my favorite.
