you will struggle greatly to run it:

and that's with a better CPU that you have. you would have to greatly reduce settings.
Sadly, I'm on the same boat as you are. But I'm not going to buy this game until I have a PC that can run it properly.

You may be able to run it at medium, and high for some things. Make sure to disable hairworks, it is a huge FPS hit. The game just does not run well at all with kepler based cards. nVidia has no plans on changing that from the looks of things.

Turn off Hairworks, keep Foliage Distance on Low and everything else on Medium and see how it goes.

Here are some in-game screenshots I took at 1080p. Even with "Medium" presets the game still looks decent. :)

He is not going to "struggle greatly to run it" you exaggerate too much

the PS4 and XB1 are far weaker than a 2500k + 770 and they run the game just fine

this is what is annoying about the pc gaming community, if its not 60fps max settings than its not worth playing right guys?

Your PC licence is hereby revoked.

OP, I gave a slightly weaker PC to a friend, i5-2400, 8GB RAM with a amd 7950.
The game is very playable even with higher quality settings, I've watched him play and finish the game over the past few months.
You can definitely run it on medium settings, probably even increase a few of them without the frame rate getting too low.

30FPS is not acceptable at all. and i think XB1 doesn't even do 1080p, it does something like 900p.

I bought a 120Hz monitor for a reason, it just looks and feels so much better.

Did that bench have hairworks on?
I get between 50 and 60fps (capped) at all times with hairworks on monsters only and foliage visibility range on high, everything else maxed.

HairWorks disabled in benchmark. what is your rig? also the bencmark FPS may be location dependent.

I played the game with a R9 290 at ultra settings (minus hairworks), and it was very playable. Your card is a little weaker, but you shouldn't have much trouble with the game. It isn't a quick twitch game, so lower framerates don't matter as much.

Nah 30fps is fine on a game like this. Only games that really need 60fps are competitive shooters, racers and fighting games.
