"The Wire" 12/19 Season Finale

I can't believe they killed Stringer Bell, Avon sold him out cold.
Welll Stringer was also selling him out to the cops but damn.

Yeah that came to me as a total shock.

The cops just lost the Wire they were so happily celebrating about.

I also agree this year has been very political but, that's how the system works. Still been a good season can't wait till next week.

It's pathetic but the only reason I have HBO right now is because of "The Wire".

Thank goodness Rescue Me and The Shield are on FX which comes with regular analog cable.

I totally skipped out on Rescue Me, i just was never around on the days it came out, The Shield is awesome but i missed half the last season, specially when Aceveda got raped.

Its sad also that only you and me are talking about the Wire, i can't believe that few ATOT members watch or like the show.

That was some dope shiznit last night. I am so glad that no good brother got his. He had Dee killed so he could bang his girl. He then was selling out Avon so he could be the man. That black scoundrel got his last night. He didn't even get a chance to finish the sentence, pop pop pop pop.
The Wire is off the chain 🙂

I only like watching the wire sometimes because I can recognize some of the places... as I lived in Baltimore before

Wow did anyone see the lesbian scene?

Wow.

yeah that was a pretty good scene with Kima.

I think the way the season finally ended was a good way to finish the show, most things are finally closed?

still awesome show.

They are coming back next year, right or is this it?

Time to return the HBO box, although I am tempted to keep it for Deadwood.

Yes i heard they will be back for Season 4, otherwise they would have called it series finally.

But now that Mcnulty is gone back to the western whats going to happen is the question.

I'm guessing if it comes back it will have the running for mayor crap all over it.

I liked the politics a lot. It's always been in the show and always seemed to be pulling things around with a string. The sex/boxing editting was a bit pretensious, but otherwise a good episode. Certainly seemed like they paced this season better than the last two.

From what I've read, they wanted this episode to be able to function as a series finale if the show wasn't renewed.

Well they could certainly do that with that last show.

You can assume Mcnulty will finally be happy and hook up with the cop from the port.
Lt. Daniels (major now) will stay with the women lawyer and his wife will get elected.
Kima will stay away from home

Things I want answer for me are.
What will happen to Prez, also Major Colvin(bunny).
Who will become the Mayor of baltimore
Will the Greeks every come back

At first I wasn't crazy about the politics but I still preferred the Greek plot and Frank Sobotka (union guy).

They also have some new series coming up that look cool. One is about the Roman Army.

Damn them! $15.99/mo isn't that much but I rarely watch HBO.

Decisions.
