The windshield is cracked ...

I just discovered a crack in the windshield of one of my cars. The funny thing is that is was not there yesterday AND the car never left the driveway today.

My question is: I've never had this happen before ... I've heard that most insurance companies (I have Allstate) cover windshield replacement as standard with no deductible.

Anyone ... please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks

I'm not sure with Allstate, but with Geico I had full glass coverage added for $33 per 6 months as a part of their $0 deductible comprehensive coverage.

Some insurance policies, glass coverage is optional. We have allstate and it was covered with $0 out of pocket and it did not go against our claims.

"Call them?"

Thank you ... I didn't think of that.

It was noticed Saturday night and my agent is closed. I will call Monday morning.
