When I saw this last night I just couldn't stop laughing. I almost passed out from laughing so hard.

Look at how many movies they used this in.

Yeah kinda silly to name it after him when it was done in a prior film two years earlier.

I always here the same sound a lot when "pressurized" or "futuristic" doors are opened as well. Think it's used in the original Doom.

Was mildly amused. My brother might find it funny though. I can't remember the game, could have been Command & Conquer that had a really funny scream.

Also, I noticed the sound effect when a door was opened in the movie Unbroken was used in the N64 game Goldeneye, the level facility.

The reason why that sound is in plated in my head is that you knew when you heard that door to check your six. LOL Anytime I heard that door open in a level I knew a sentry was near by.

Do you even have a TV or Internet? I have heard it today many times and I have yet to even turn the TV on. :sneaky:

I rarely watch live TV except for the news but I've got a movie collection and I've watched Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead and Stargate SG-1/Atlantis in the last year with occasional movies. The only days I don't hear/notice it are the days I'm too busy to even turn on the radio.

I totally know what youre talking about too! I noticed the door, but couldnt place the origin!
