The Wii has good games?

- A Boy and His Blob
- Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2
- Goldeneye
- Kirby's Epic Yarn
- Metroid Prime Trilogy
- Epic Mickey

If you haven't played any Gamecube games you can probably add a bunch more titles. Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Super Mario Sunshine, Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion, hell, just about any first party Nintendo title.

I actually like Excitebots a lot, and Excite Trucks to a lesser degree. Also Dangerous Creatures, Zak and Wiki, Silent Hill Shattered Memories, Sonic Colors.

I think there would be a lot more great games on the Wii if people supported the system and bought the quality titles that have come out for it. Unfortunately, high Wii game sales numbers seem to be isolated to games with "Party" in the title.

I bought House of the Dead: Overkill earlier this week and it's a hoot. Adults ONLY that's for sure. I think it actually has the Guinness Book of Records for most f-bombs dropped in a game.

Get the $12 Perfect Shot controller from Best Buy and blast you some zombies.

I've found the Endless Ocean games to be fairly enjoyable.

While Nintendo is extremely secretive about what comes out of Monster Games, according to my friend that's a programmer there his bug list is empty, so there may be another Excite series game coming soon.

Nope, I have found very few games on the wii that I have liked. Where is doom for the wii, where is diablo for the wii, quake, ,,,,,,,. I have one of the resident evil games for the wii - the controls can not be customized and the default controls are confusing.

I have probably played tennis, bowling and baseball more then anything else.

What I would like to see is a shotgun or a rifle as a controller and left 4 dead 2 ported to wii - now that I would buy.

Don't turn this into a console vs. PC debate.

As for your request, spend $12 on a Nyko Perfect Shot and $15 on used copies of House of the Dead 2/3 and OverKill. Good zombie shoot'em ups.

I bought HOTD: Overkill, and IMO it's overrated. It's pretty much just a rail shooter with a lot of cussing, and an obscene amount of glitches. It's amusing for a single run through with a friend, but definitely not worth the full retail price. Rent it if you must.

It's not a game you fire up for story line purposes. It's just a fun shoot 'em up you bust out with friends and drink some beers to. Games like Buck Hunter are a hit in a bar for a reason. And it's not for the story line.

Yep. It wasn't a *bad* game. I just think it's the type of game you should rent.

Oboro Muramasa, a bit lacking in the story department with a mashy-ish battle system but it's fun as hell and has a lot of weapons to forge. The high level hidden missions can be very tough too.

At $7 a rental anymore it's just a lot more economical to buy used games for $10-$15.

*shrug*

For $10 sure. I think I payed $25 at the time LOL.

Oh and what about Okami? I haven't played it myself but, it's supposed to be a classic. (Technically not a Wii exclusive as it was originally released on PS2).
