I know it's old now but I just watched it. That movie is fucked up!!! kept me on the edge of my seat though. Wasn't quite expecting the ending.

I accidentally watched the alternate version not knowing there were 2 endings. After seeing the original ending, I like the alternate better.. more cold blooded from a author's perspective.
 
I remember seeing the original. The story is good but the production, acting and directing was weak. Very 70s. I saw it sometime in the mid 80's.
