I've been out of the loop for a while. I started doing some reading on ITU Rec. 2020, WCG, HDR, HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4
But I need to make something sure which I didn't find.
There are probably marketing terms and technical mixed like with the rest, so...
Is HDR and WCG an interchangable term?
Is Rec 2020 and 10-bit an interchangable term ?
Is HDR moniker exclusive to 10-bit or it can be 10 or 12 bit ?
Is WCG interchangable with the term Rec 2020 ?
The first monitors will be 10-bit, the affordable coming ones?
When will these monitors come to the standard-high $350-400 range ?
Should I wait for OLED etc. or are IPS-LED-LCD upgraded with WCG/HDR okay for long term?
Is 10-bit okay for long term or will 12-bit be a big difference?
