I've been searching around many sites that call Pluto a planet, and states that there are 9 planets in our solar system. It's not though right? And there are actually only 8 planets in our solar system?
If we knew then what we know now, we probably wouldn't have classified Pluto as a planet. But it's been that way too long to change now and it would mess up the old mnemonic trick "'My Very Educated Mother Just Showed Us Nine Planets"

What about the latest body they found, that I don't think has a real name, does it? Do we make that Planet 10, or ignore it and say it's too small.
We could just say there are 8-10 planets in our solar system.
They figured out that Pluto is the largest asteroid (one of those celestial body type things) in its family. Many astronomers don't consider it a planet anymore. I bought Carl Sagan's COSMOS, and that part was on last night
