My server's OS partition died a few months ago, I have decided to switch from Linux to OpenBSD, so I'll be installing that.
Then I will use pf to set up my NAT
Then I will move some data off of some EXT3 formatted drives, and format them with FFS.
Then once I get the additional data drives formatted for FFS, I'll mount them.
Then, I'll set up my samba share.
Then it will be time to install Apache and PostgreSQL
Then I'll either mess with the ftpD that comes with OpenBSD, or I'll look for proftpd or something similar.
Once the FTP daemon is all good and configured, then I'll probably play around with fluxbox a little bit, just to get it set how I like it.
I'm sure I'd be able to do this quicker with Slackware, as I'm much more familiar to Slack, but one of the admins here (probably the best one at that) always speaks praises about OpenBSD so I figured I should at least try it.
EDIT, bah, I changed my mind ... Slackware on this box,
I would rather run OpenBSD on something that I can experiment more on
