I've got my domain registered to use zone edit's dns server. Well when I try to access the domain with my computer it doesn't work. It says can't find DNS server. But if I use my laptop and connect with dail up it works, and everyone I've asked to try it, it works for them.

It works on some connections doesn't work on others?!?!
Now I can get it to work on my computer, IF I put there dns servers for my computer. Why? I shouldn't have to. I didn't have to with my laptop.

Anyone have an answer to this?

Could it be that zoneedit has to contact with every dns server or somethign for my site? Because I keep asking around and for some people it works and others it doesn't. One guy it wasn't working and 3 hours later it worked.

Takes time for records to propogate yes. All depends on what the TTL (Time To Live) is set to. Give it a couple of days and it sounds like it'll be fine.

yes, it will take on the order of 24-48 hours for it to propagate through the networks... chances are the dialup name servers "know" about the new nameservers hosting the zonefile and that your computer's NS don't (yet)...
