i think the only thing our weatherman gets right is the current conditions, they even screw that up sometimes

Snow is great; anyone that disagrees with me needs to spend some time in the snow belt of one of the great lakes. It's so much fun to watch people freak out here over just 4 inches, when back home a foot and half of unexpected snow won't even delay school. Last Christmas, my brother picked me up to bring me home; we hit a lake-effect blizzard that droped over 3 feet of snow in less than 6 hours. We ended up in a ditch, got towed out, and nobody thought anything of it. All of the stores opened the next morning for Christmas shoppers at 9am. There were at least two inches of packed snow/ice on all of the roads, but it didn't deter anyone.

Yeah, I gotta admit, nothing is as cool as after mother nature takes a big ole white dump on us

I just get giddy like a school boy everytime we get over 6 inches of snow

I used to take my old beater car and pound snow drifts, what a blast!!

Careful doing that. A few of us in an Oldsmobile went flying in the air in 1977 when we rammed what we thought was a snow drift at 40mph. Turns out that this was a packed snow mound made by the plow and covered by an inch of fluffy. :Q

redly1, six inches?!? Don't make me laugh! ;)

You haven't seen real snow until you've gone to sleep after watching the weather where they call for less than an inch, and wake up with almost 2 feet on the ground. :)

We have about 4 inches on the ground right now. I'm in Billings, MT FYI.

I love the winter, nothing more beautiful.

Bleech, snow, who needs it? I live in Atlanta and we only get it about once a year, which is fine with me.

Snow is fun when you got a 4-wheeler or snowmobile. I need more places to ride though.
