Yes, yes - just got my hand on the screener but will surely support the blu ray release by tossing my $20 in... SHOCKED how much I loved this movie, from a guy who hates sports. Seems like the movie completely bombed, anyone see it? It is cheesy, it is cliched, but it's also fantastic and oddly honest. Tom Hardy's physical performance makes me excited again for the new Batman movie (he plays Baine) and Nick Nolte's performance.. Well, I don't remember a better performance in anything by any actor.

What is a screener?

It's what critics get to 'screen' a movie before it's released.

Not to be confused with a Cam, which is where someone films the video within a theater.

Screeners typically have 'property of MGM studios' branded on the screen somewhere

Yes! I went back and forth during the first few moments- "this is so corny! the acting's awful!" then it started to build momentum and I wasn't sure who I was rooting for more. Don't want to ruin it for you but the pay off felt real, earned, and packed a punch (pardon the pun). The directed made Miracle, which I remember loving as well.
