i agree till it affect u in some way. Also its not that exciting to iraqes civilians that are getting caught in the middle of the fighting and getting killed.
No, thats imtim83, but still that is pretty naive. GermyBoy, you realize reality tv is NOT reality and war is reality. People are dying and I fail to see any entertainment value in that.

You know how a lot of people are dying right? Unlike all those other reality shows, it's actually real.

You are clueless Germy. War isn't something that is programmed for entertainment. I am sure I am not the only one who feels insulted by even the slightest suggestion of a correlation between the two.
As long as he pretends like no one dies then its alright with him. He seems to forget out soldiers are dying too. If it was his father/brother/best friend/cousin it sure as fvcking hell wouldn't be entertainment then.

I know it's not TV. But it's still the best thing on to watch, when I do watch tv. Smallville is nothing but reruns, 24 is getting bad, Friends is horrible this season, and that's the only TV I watch really.
Totally agree plus thousand of solders on Iraq side are dieing. Yes they maybe fighting us but don't forget they are someone father, brother, husband. Also don't forget they are humans. Also if we were in their position I don't know if I would refuse to fight, it?s not that much about Hussein as it?s about defending there country. Right now they have no reason to fight anymore Sadam has no more control but some of them will fight because they believe in defending their country from enemy force. Yes in their eyes we are the enemy and we would probably look at them same way if tables were reverse.
I think that for the next war, if you contribute a certain amount, say $1000, to the war chest, they should let you pilot a Tomahawk cruise missile w/onboard video from your home computer. I would use my MS force feedback joystick for added effect.

I think you guys are being a bit too harsh on GermyBoy. Sure, it was war, and war is cruel and not good, but I believe a lot of people were glued to their TVs watching the war progress in real-time.
