My wife and I just dropped off our ballots to the ballot box.

We had to request replacements. Online tracking showed the originals were sent but never arrived. Interestingly, the second set did arrive but mine was in the same envelope as my wife's. I ended up printing mine online and destroying the second ballot.

Man, this is all weird.....

What state?

Listening to the police scanner, they were just dispatched to the Board of Elections, which is in a free standing building, for a woman in the parking lot with a bullhorn trying to intimidate voters and cussing. It is actually illegal to be in the parking lot, unless you are turning in ballots.

This not an early voting site, but where voters can turn-in their absentee ballots.

And it is pouring the rain, with almost an inch since 8 AM.

Out to vote in my tiny little town and there's a nice line. Very encouraged! Not that it really matters since MD is blue but seeing voter engagement is good regardless

Aren't you really strangely purpleish? I mean, first Michael Steele, and now your current governor. I know, at least you guys elect sane Republicans.

Dropped ours off, got a text from somoma County today saying they were accepted.
Well, I discovered I was wrong. I did not know you could check your registration status and that your ballet has been accepted. Checks on both counts. Where's my "I voted" sticker!
Accepted 10/19.

I advanced voted yesterday in my KS county. Was one person in front of us at about 5pm, open until 7:30pm currently. Was in and out in about 5 minutes. But voting Dem in KS is kind of a losing battle for pres. Stupid EC.

Dropped my ballot off in NJ on 10/9 and it was received a couple days later but still just showing received and not accepted. In NJ they started counting ballots last Saturday, I'm a little concerned

Do you have the option of voting in person, if it is not accepted by 11/3?
In NC, in person voting is allowed if your previous ballot was lost in the mail, or rejected for some reason.

I can do a provisional ballot in person on the 3rd but we were an all mail-in ballot state this year due to our governor, which I disagreed with him on.

Tell me, I'm in Texas (San Antonio area). Though what looked like 2 1/2 hour long lines the first week of early voting gives me a slight hope here. Took me about 20 minutes to get through the line and up to the counter for my ballot when I voted on the 19th. Hope Harris County got a lot of votes last night from Bun-B's concert at the drive through voting site (Bun-B is one of my favorite rappers of all time, from the group UGK)

Ended up voting early today, only took me maybe ~30 minutes even though I had to register at my new address. Was kind of surprised at the number of old people voting in person, thought a lot of them would stick to mail in this election.

I dunno where else to post this:

NEW: Blowing past 9 million ballots cast, Texas has now SURPASSED its 2016 vote total with four days to go until Election Day.
