I'm trying to format a 60 gig hdd and I got this message.


<< C:\Documents and Settings\Mom>format d: /fs:fat32
The type of the file system is RAW.

I thought the limitation is much higher than this. Is it me or you guys formatted a 60 gig before using FAT32? What's the max gig I can format in FAT32? Anyway, my system is 800E in P3V4X.

Looks like you are trying to format in Xp/2K. You are limited to 32GB by doing it that way. Grab a 98 bootdisk and format the old fashioned way. ;)
