I bought it last night, it's $5 on Xbox dunno how much it is on Switch or PS4. It's like Paperboy with every 80's reference you can imagine thrown in. It has those weird boxy retro graphics and is super difficult considering all you can do is go left or right 3 spaces and jump. You deliver VHS tapes into mailboxes and avoid the millions of things that all dead you in a single hit.
1st play I died after maybe 15 seconds, in that 15 seconds I saw Care Bears, Inspector Gadget, Lucy from Peanuts at her psychiatrist booth & Martin & Riggs from Lethal Weapon. 2nd time I lasted maybe 10 seconds longer. And I saw Doc from Back To The Future, Alvin & The Chipmunks, Big Bird, a Walker from Star Wars, I think He Man and ET. This is a $5 game so every character's just a blocky look a like knock off. But I could tell each one right away, and most of them seem to have a word or 2 voice over, the ones I've heard were pretty accurate. I played for about 15 minutes and saw probably 50 things I remember from my childhood. Your default character is supposed to be Marty Mcfly. It's a pretty good time killer. And if you're good at unforgiving twitchy games you might actually be decent at it. When you move it's an exact space every time so I die, a lot. I also die a lot from being distracted by seeing shit I remember from when I was 8.
There's a few unlockables, but this is a cheap game so I don't expect to get a lot of time out of it. I loved Paperboy as a lad (but I sucked at it lol) so I'll probably play this until I beat it then pick it up from time to time for a stroll down memory lane.
