I booted 1.01 on an Athlon once. Was an interesting challenge. I'm yet to actually be able to use it - because it does not recognize PS/2 keyboards!

I remember using Windows 3.1 with Norton Desktop... I didn't know that wasn't what Windows 3.1 looked like until I used my grandpa's computer. Anyone remember Norton Desktop? Was pretty handy.

I remember running Windows 2.0
But before that, it was all about command line DOS and XTree Gold.
And before that, I played cartridge games on my dad's Spectravideo :D
Zaxxon was the coolest game ever

Edit: Speaking of which, anybody know where I can buy a spectravideo computer? I haven't seen one in ages and ebay doesn't have any :(

heh...Chicago.

I remember the first beta of Chicago we got in on floppies...one was bad and had to wait until a replacement arrived.

My first taste with Windows was 2.1 and going to a client site and helping some guy with Excel.

Before that, obviously, DOS...2.1 was the first, I believe...for the PC world. Atari/Commodore before that.
