The verdict on Black and White?

Ok I am tired of Diablo 2, BG2, CS and Tribes 2. I need a new game. Should I buy this game? What are your thoughts and it similiarites to games of the past/present?

For 95% of the people, it seems some completely hate it and others love it. However, I think I'm of the 5% left. I thought it was a really cool and different game with tons of neat things to figure out. Unfortunately it just wasn't my type of game and I didn't want to get involved with it trying to actually win. So I played it for maybe 10 hours then basically got bored with it.

Funny as hell though the first time your creature does weird stuff. Like when they go kick cows and stuff around or when they pick up people and decide to just throw them. Oh and when they eat their own crap lol.

Well, not really.

I played the Sims quite a bit when I first got it (like B&W) except I just got bored with that, period. With B&W, I just got bored because I didn't want to get involved and put in more time. If it was more fun to me (wasn't my type of game) then it'd be fun for a long time. Sims OTOH, doesn't seem to have much replay factor. I'm not exactly sure how much you can do... it's just same old.

Yeah exactly on The Sims point. I will put time into it though, I do with most all my games. The Sims was very fun but quickly got tiresome. Just wish they had a demo made for the game, cannot seem to find one. Reading up on it alot though and seems like alot of replay value in the game.
