Easily one of my favorite relatively new cartoons. If you havent heard of it, check it out. You are definitely missing out on some awesome stuff.

I dont know who I'd consider to be my favorite character on there. Dr. O (the necromancer) and the Monarch always crack me up but so do Hank and Dean.
 
Hilarious. I used to not like it but I never really gave it a chance. Once I actually watched a couple it was really funny.
 
I agree on Dr. Orpheus (or whatever) being awesome.

Did they do a second season yet, or anything? I made a three DVD set of the first season, but there's only so many times you can watch the same episodes.

Season 1 DVD is sched for Spring 06, seems a ways off to me. While we're on the subject, anyone got the last Ep recorded and wanna rip me the scared straight scene?

A couple chucklers but I feel like they rely too heavily on the "gimmie" jokes about homosexuality and penises. Not up to par compared to other Adult Swim offerings.

I disagree. The gimme jokes are done well because they come out of characters who I think are well defined and unique. The more subtle humor comes into play in the action sequences which are often funny and also kinda cool. The whole Johnny Quest style knock-off idea is done perfectly IMO. But maybe I'm just laughing at things that aren't funny 😛

A well-done fart joke is still just a fart joke. I can count on vastly different and equally absurd comedic devices from AHTF and Sealab and Robot Chicken and rarely do they seem to need to go for the cheap gag.

Venture Bros definitely has some upsides and some chucklers, but of the "new" Adult Swim comedies, that's the one that I cancelled on my Tivo.
 
Venture Bros. is by far my favorite show on Adult Swim right now. I'm just glad they are making new episodes even though it will take a while. Brock is the man.
