sorry, just looked it up on wikipedia and he was the manager in like 1965, but Reed fired him later.
 
Hats off to Waldo Jeffers.

The Velvet underground was not Warhol's band any more that Captain Beefheart and the Magic band was Zappa's.
Lou Reed's was the kingpin, and his touch is found throughout Velvet's work.

If you wated the Stone film The Doors, recall that Nico sucked off Morrison in an elevator.

Great stuff. All the Punk musicians I know hail White Light, White Heat as a serious influence.

Cool I'll check em out, I don't like the contemporary crap we have today, I listen to old Rock, and orchestral a lot more.
