I can guarantee you they will keep the child under close supervision at a minimum, and more than likely will never even let these parents maintain custody at all. Since the baby will apparently be born in jail, and the father is obviously a fruitcake (saying things like "We are about to drop another seed ? and no one can tell us how to raise this child or any of our children," will hardly help his case), I imagine the child will become a ward of the state for the time being. Thank God!
I am still nonplussed by the idea that these lunatic-fringe vegans were apparently feeding the child cod liver oil - I have a hard time seeing how one can reconcile that with a vegan lifestyle.

That guy is a complete nutjob. I hope they take away the new baby so at least it can get some decent care after it is born. It will probably need it, because like it's sibling, it will be born tiny and unhealthy.

They should cut their losses and just nuke the town where these people live. Whatever stupid causing ailment they have might have spread, and we can't let it run rampant. We can't risk a quarantine. Nuke it now before it's too late!!!!
