The Usual Suspects: just saw it, so confusing... spoilers

I know there's been some threads on this movie, and I know i'm about 8 years too late, but the threads all archived so I can't bring them back. I actually didn't watch this movie straight through, it took me like 3 days to get through the first 1/3, then it got interesting and I just finished watching the last 2/3. I guess I wasn't paying that much attention and now I am so confused as to what happened. As to reading some of the reviews on amazon, apparently a lot of people are confused and no one really knows what happened. I just want to see if I got the plot straight...

1. Keyser Soze was really Verbal
2. Was he really hiding on the boat or did he destroy the boat by himself?
3. If he destroyed the boat, then what happened to Keaton?
4. Who killed Keaton's wife/girlfriend/whatever and why?
5. So Verbal made up the entire story using words located in the detectives office?

Is there any place where there's discussion or insight onto the plot of the movie, I'd really like to know what most people think happened even though supposedly most of it is left up to the viewer.

2. You never know because the story you see are the lies he tells
3. something just to tickle your WTF meter
4. Soze had her killed

yeah I do think I need to watch it again, I have no recollection of what the first hour was about.

And I already said I know i'm 8 years too late, but thanks for reminding me :)

Wait, so you KIND OF watched the movie over 3 days and are coming here to get the plot explained to you?

Cripes, man. Just sit still and watch it for 2 hours if it really puzzled you THAT much, and your questions will be answered. Sheesh.

4 is wrong. Chaz mentioned to Verbal that her body was found with a bullet in her head.

One point that hasn't been mentioned. With Verbal being Kaiser the whole story could be a fabrication or just the names. The viewer has no idea what was reality and what was fiction (in the context of the movie). There is really no boundary between what could be a complete lie and what could have been the truth, the only thing the movie reveals is that the names are definately wrong but even the whole story could be a fabrication with just enough truth thrown in to lead the detective down the path that Verbal wanted.

The beauty of the movie is the confusion the ending generates.
