The usb on my motherboard isnt working

i picked a p4r800-vm mobo but after i got the mobo proc and ram in my mother board
i tried hooking up a usb mouse and it wouldnt even light not even in the bios
also the on board video doesnt work

is the usb fryed

my mouse and keyboard works
and all my pci
my agp also works but usb does not

can anyone help me
