Well it's time we realized, Government isn't the problem, Capitalism via Government is the problem.

Well we can tell MagickMan didn't get laid last night.

By that measure he's never been laid. Actually he's just one of those sad people who had parents that ignored his existence. He thinks that if he screams loud enough, argues aggressively in your face long enough, and slimes everybody around him, that somebody might actually hear him. Well I hear him and extend him my pity. It also helps a lot to have a garden where roses bloom in horse shit.

GOP should be replaced by a party that can actually govern. Competition is good.

Then those pinko commies win. No the gop should gather their guns together and go out on the streets enforcing capitalism.

seriously, you are fucking dumb.

like, how did you graduate the 3rd grade, dumb. You do fascinate me, though. It's interesting that they let you out of your box in Idaho to type on your computer.

It's more perplexing how you manage to type, considering how dumb you are.

aww how cute its one of those smug ass liberturds that thinks his shit don't stink so he pisses on everyone else.

So just to be clear you're complaining about people pissing on other people while calling them 'libturds'?

Why do you retards only look at economics? We have a shit-ton of social/cultural Marxists in the US gov't, the regressive Left is growing by leaps and bounds. Hell, our universities are practically useless now, concerned only with social justice and activism, at the expense of basic education.

No, just no. So much fail. You have no idea what actual socialism/left-wing policy is. America is blind to it.

How quickly people forget.

I've seen some other assessments that vary somewhat, but it's interesting to see Carter listed here as the most left leaning. Quite fascinating to juxtapose this with how the states voted for him:

http://www.270towin.com/1976_Election/

He won a lot of states that we consider today to be staunchly red, and lost some states that we now consider staunchly blue.

And this wasn't really that long ago. I guess a lot can change in a generation and a half or so. But the way people talk about things today you'd think the states have been locked into their voting outcomes for a century.

Back in 1976, it was still possible for a democrat, albeit one from the south, to take southern states. 10 years prior to that, the south was nearly 100% locked up for the dems. Times do indeed change, quite quickly.

Just because the rest of the West has gone completely off the Left edge doesn't mean cultural Marxism isn't running rampant in the US. Why the fuck do you think a dipshit like Trump can gather so much support, despite the fact the only platform he has is being anti-establishment?

All political parties should be illegal.

What we need is no confidence votes where we can kick the president or supreme court members out of office if we dislike their conduct.

Yeah, sounds great. Except then you wind up with a president that 66% of the populace voted against.

It's worse than that. With the Electoral College, it's possible to wind up with a president that 99% of the populace voted against. Example: Trump and Hillary run, and Kasich runs as an independent. Trump and Hillary each get ~49.5% of the vote, but Kasich wins Ohio, so neither Trump nor Hillary gets a majority in the Electoral College. So the House of Representatives votes for the next President. They're a Republican majority, so they won't vote for Hillary. They also don't like Trump much. So Kasich becomes President.

As long as the US has a First-Past-The-Post election, there will be two parties that can win elections, and smaller parties that can, at best, be spoilers.
