Here he is at 3 months.

We have a talking Elmo doll and my wife got upset when I programmed in that my son's favorite animal is an Eagle and that his favorite color is green. We have 2 dogs and she was annoyed that I didn't set it to dog...
I haven't gotten him to WATCH football yet, but he already has a favorite team...

I should report you to the authorities for child abuse...

:p

Go Cowboys!
How's that whole TO thing working out for ya?

Meh...

I've disliked TO since his days in red and gold.

The woman keeps saying how she hopes we have a girl.

I have three, and from what I've seen, boys are much more work til the teens, then things reverse themselves...

I keep telling my wife
IUD's when they're fourteen
...and I'm moving into my own apartment 'til they move out. ;)

My wife and I have a 4 month old, she is pretty fun, trying to figure out how to crawl but can't quite. The wifey told me yesterday she had baby fever and wanted to know if we could try for another in 8 months. I was like o_O

My wife is going through the same phase. She wants another baby even after all the troubles we had getting the first two here (we almost lost both). I told her neither her body or I could take another pregnancy. No way in hell am I going to put us through that again.

QFT. First one was by the book, but the 2nd one (on the way, coming in Jan 2007) was only conceived after 2 failed attempts. Two boys will be plenty for me thank you very much. To the OP, just wait for the walking stage. Get ready to childproof (edit: you should have outlets etc. already done) your house and move anything under 3 feet off the ground up higher. Also, be prepared with your camera for the baby sitting inside an entire roll of toilet paper taken off spool :).

Congratz to everyone. You can see pictures of my little girl here. Shes now 16 months walks, talks and is starting to memorize two of here books. We're very proud of her and are expecting #2 (a boy) in late January! Watching them learn to walk is easily one of the cutest parts.

Just keep in mind IUD's still have that small percentage when they don't work. I'm living proof ;)

It's funny actually. My parents planned/tried to have my older brother. They didn't want to have another kid for a while so my mom got an IUD implanted. Not too long after that my mom was pregnant with me :D. I like to tell people I should have been born wearing armor cuz the odds were against me: IUD was in place during conception, umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck during birth and I came out blue (I think my mom had less than an hour of labor with me Vs something like 37 hrs with my bro), and had an older brother that decided opening the car door and unbuckling the car seat with infant me in it while making a turn was "fun". Keep in mind my brother is less than 2 years older than me (18 months) so it wasn't like he actually knew what he was doing at the time. I actually got to meet the doctor that delivered me. He said he caught me like a little football. Then of course he quickly removed the cord around my neck. If my mom had taken much longer in labor I wouldn't be here....thanks mom, you rock :thumbsup::D

I have 14 and 17 yr old boys. Self determination and free will are great ideas that suck in real life. There should be a separate planet for all children between the ages of 11 and 23.

We have one of each and I have enjoyed them immensely...each for different reasons. They will also break your heart at times but it is never a dull ride!
I believe this is from the movie parenthood describing the difference between having a boy vs. having a girl: "with boys, you only have to worry about one p3nis. With girls, you have to worry about all of them"
