Is this worth watching? I was thinking of renting a couple of the discs. I like military and action shows, as well as 24.
 
Have you seen MI-5 / Spooks? It's a British counter-terrorism show that's a little more intellectual than 24, which is good or bad depending on how you look at it 🙂
 
No idea what MI-5 / Spooks is.

Thinking I'll go rent a disc or two... just don't wanna spend the time or money on it if it sucks when I could've watched a good movie. 🙂
 
I watched the first episode, didn't like it. Haven't watched it again. *shrug*, I guess I didn't give it much of a chance.
 
If you fast forward through the wife bs, you can enjoy it more.

Season 2 is cool. In the first episode, the guy gets picked up by a plane via bungee cord. Is that sh!t real?

I'm not sure if the military currently uses that method but IIRC it was developed during WWII so that OSS agents could be retrived from hostile countries. Also not sure if it was actually used but that is there reason that the method came about.
 
I've been watching since first episode season 1.

Good stuff.

Not great like say Dexter, but good still.
