The Unit -- Who's Watching It Tonight?

Also, "the unit" bears an uncanny resemblence to Delta Force. Is it really about Delta Force, or just some similar fictional Special Forces unit?

It said at the beginning "based on the book Inside Delta Force ".
 
It was so so....
Would like it to be more believable...

Problems I had with it:

1) Terrorists getting that much C4 on the plane.. How the hell would they have been able to do that?

2) I didn't like the newcomer blonde girl whining about living on base... she didn't seem believable, bad acting

3) I thought the opening seemed a little akward with President Palmer being in the middle east... didn't feel right. They could've opened up the show a little better

I'll give it a few more episodes

That colonel is a prick.. banging one of his soldiers wives and sending his soldier out for long tours of duty so he can hit it... wth happened to brotherhood and blah blah blah?

I liked President Palmer though.

I'll watch next week and see how the show progresses.... hopefully better
 
I thought it was pretty good. Not the normal pilot episode. I liked the fact that by the end of the first show you know less than you think about everyone.

All in all, pretty good for a network show.

Burn Divx file to DVD and have a Divx enabled DVD player FTW!

Or just have a 50" TV w/ VGA input like me and watch it that way.

I don't have a DVD burner (don't really have a need for one), nor do I have a video card with TV outs. To be honest, d/l a TV show and all that rigamarole is far too much work for a TV show....I just don't care about TV enough to do all that. 🙂
 
couldnt help but think this show could have been better had it been on cable or sat.

liek others said ill give it a few more episodes..

I think the show was pretty bad. Why was Palmer the only one to go into the cabin?
 
ill maybe catch up on the show later, i still have 2 seasons worth of the shield i'm catching up on.

anyways, tonight i'll be playing Ghost Recon and Burnoug on 360 😀
