The undo button

Sometimes I have these dreams where I'm falling after I make the "wrong move" or whatever. It then goes me furiously pressing CTRL + Z hoping I won't fall to my death.. which leads to shutting off the computer. I suppose my dreams are of myself in a computer game.

But yes I wish CTRL + Z really worked in life. Like I could drive off a cliff and hit undo before I hit a rock.

I would also enjoy a redo button. Certain events would definitely be the undo/redo chain.

Isn't this basically what the movie "Click!" is about?

Never saw it. Not really into Adam Sandler.

Sort of. Basically everything the controller would do it did to life, including changing the language, color hue, etc...

It wasn't an 'Adam Sandler' movie as most people think of him. It was a lot more serious than that and I didn't care for it much.

He just fast forwards through the boring parts of his life. No real reset option.

Actually a pretty good movie, much less of a comedy than I was expecting. Also has Christopher Walken, and Kate Beckinsale in silky pajamas...

It would have been more interesting if not for the ridiculous cop-out ending. Rather pissed me off.

Regardless, tossing Kate Beckinsale into any flick is all it takes to hold my attention for 2 hours. :D

Undo/redo buttons = unintended consequences

If you hadn't hit the undo button to avoid some inconsequential calamity, in two seconds your number would have come up in the lottery. :frown:

Not paying attention to the time, you punch the redo button for the sixth time, just as her husband walks into the bedroom after work. :Q
