the un-changeable start home page for IE

I think my computer had infected with nasty spyware, I have tried with Ad-Aware 6 and latest definition but no luck, basically whenever I open up the new IE it will go to this site automatically " http://searchpage.cc/1524/ " even I tried to change the home page at the option it will always overrides the command automatically next time I open up the IE browswer, I used IE to block that page but it doesnt seem to work, anyone have any suggestions or other software I may try to get rid of this thing, it also hogs alot of my system resource and it always opens up endless pop-ups too.
 
To get rid of this junk there is a link at the bottom of that stupid search page that hijacks your browser window.

There is a downloadable file they tell you to get and run it to un-install this search tool.

There are also other steps besides that too. Such as running the uninstallation file two more times after running it the first time. Plus there is some other thing you have to type into the run command to get rid of it.

Its quite nasty but it does go away after this.
 
Check the software forum, there was a post there about removing spy-ware and hijacking. I think the sticky wore off though...
